It all started when I was 3.

Just prior to the Spring of 1996, I distinctly remember the first time I was allowed to use a computer on my own.

A winter morning. Early, probably around 6:30 or 7am. My Dad was getting ready for work. A Randy Travis CD played on the family stereo. Times were good. And ever since we had purchased our first family computer a few months prior, a Compaq Presario with a screamin' 100Mhz Pentium I Processor, nothing else could quite fixate my attention the same way. The wonder eminating from the 15'' CRT screen was only surpassed by the mystery of what was possible with such a futuristic device.

It's a me, Chris!

While I was a bit too young to browse the Internet, my parents embraced my interest in technology. Being 80s people, my parents also enjoyed video games, which resulted in a discrepancy arising as to which of these constituted an appropriate game for whom.

Ever since, I haven't been able to get away from the digital world. I love video games, software, cartoons, and pretty much anything involving a convergence of any combination of technology, science, and art. In high school, I participated in the Information Technology program, where I was given the opportunity to begin my career by redesigning the school's website.

I subseqently attended Rochester Institute of Technology, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in New Media Interactive Development. This degree mirrors my interests. It is an amalgamation of subjects, emphasizing programming (especially involving human-computer interaction), but also covers interface design, product design, game development, and others.

You got your good looks from your parents, but your smartness from me.

Thank you for reading this brief biography about me. While technology is definitely my first love, writing is somewhere in the top 10ish. If you want to send me an email, head back to the main page. :)
